Dreams resort opens in St. Thomas

1 january 2015
AMResorts opened the Dreams Sugar Bay St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
"More than 64% of Americans do not own a passport, which made St. Thomas a particularly desirable location for AMResorts' Dreams brand," said Gonzalo del Peon, AMResorts' president.
Passports are not required for travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico, which are U.S. territories.
The all-inclusive, 297-room Dreams, the former Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, features seven a la carte dining options and specialty restaurants, three bars and lounges, supervised activities at the Explorer's Club for kids and the Core Zone Teens Club with social events.
Resort amenities include three interconnecting pools with caves and waterfalls, mini-golf, a bumper-boats pool, tennis, snorkeling, a fitness center and the Dreams Spa by Pevonia.
