Three of Baha Mar's hotels will begin hosting paid guests on March 27, when the $3.5 billion complex opens.
Opening rates at the 1,000-room Baha Mar Casino & Hotel start at $350 per night, double; rates at the 200-room Rosewood at Baha Mar start at $720 per night, double, and at $750 at the 300-room SLS Lux at Baha Mar.
The 700-room Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar is expected to open on May 1; the all-inclusive, 694-room Melia Nassau Beach will become part of Baha Mar upon completion of renovations in early 2016.
"We are thrilled to welcome our first guests to the 'New Riviera' in time for the peak spring travel weeks," said Paul Pusateri, COO of Baha Mar.
Facilities available to guests at the opening include the 100,000-square-foot casino, TPC at Baha Mar golf course, Espa Spa, pools, the Cabana Club, beach, and many restaurants, clubs and shops.
A series of opening celebrations is planned, including a ribbon-cutting gala and grand-opening event scheduled for April and May, respectively. Baha Mar will kick off Riviera Summer, a four-month entertainment event from Memorial Day weekend to late September.
"The Voyage," a short-film digital campaign, debuted on an updated website on Jan. 5.
